About The Role

Stores Person

Full‑Time, Permanent

The Role

We’re looking for a proactive Stores Person to play a key role in our supply chain operations. In this position, you’ll ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials essential for production, operations, and projects. Your focus will be on maintaining accurate inventory records, guaranteeing material availability, and supporting smooth workflows across the business. This role will be based on site in Goole.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Oversee receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring accurate inventory and FIFO principles.
  • Monitor stock levels, perform regular checks, and manage timely replenishment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, prepare reports, and update management regularly.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance storeroom efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Production and Operations to issue materials as required.
  • Review scheduled orders and ensure accurate picking, packing, and delivery within agreed timelines.
What We’re Looking For
  • Background in safe use and inspection of rope access equipment.
  • Competent Person PPE Inspection (Work at Height / Rope Access Equipment) or equivalent.
  • Experience in wind turbine blade maintenance (advantageous but not essential).
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
  • Skilled in conducting stock counts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Effective team player with cross‑functional collaboration experience.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
