Qualifications

Stores Operator

£12.89 to £13.00 per hour plus overtime - Permanent position based in Keynsham, 33 days holiday, working Monday to Friday 37 hour week, core hours 7.30 - 15.30, Flexi time, early finish Friday, pension, sick pay, parking.

Our client is an established and highly respected manufacturer, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and working as part of a small and friendly team. The Stores Operator will be responsible for receiving goods in and issuing parts & kits to the production area as well as managing stock levels.

Duties of the Stores Operator will include:
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Processing incoming goods and parts & booking in on system
  • Picking kit lists and individual parts for production
  • Issuing goods to production, ensuring production demands & timings are met
  • Inspecting incoming goods and reporting any defective parts
  • Receiving goods back from production and dispatch work
  • Any other general warehouse duties
Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stores role – ideally within an Engineering environment
  • A current Counterbalance Forklift licence would be ideal
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of ERP and warehouse management systems
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good eye for detail
