Location: Kenilworth

Salary: £26,000 per annum (OT Available)

Hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: 08:00–17:00
  • Friday: 08:00–14:30
    Overtime available.
About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Stores & Logistics Operative to join our team based in Kenilworth. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day running of the store, factory, and yard, ensuring smooth material flow and accurate inventory control. Full training, including forklift operation, will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving & Checking Goods: Unloading deliveries, verifying items against paperwork, and inspecting for damage.
  • Stock Management: Moving, storing, labelling, and replenishing stock using manual handling equipment and forklifts (training provided).
  • Order Fulfilment: Picking, packing, and preparing items for the factory or dispatch.
  • Inventory Control: Conducting stocktakes and updating system records.
  • General Maintenance: Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well‑organised stores, factory, and yard area.
  • Reporting: Compiling reports on stock movements, logistics activity, and related trends.
  • Logistics Coordination:
    • Organising materials to and from suppliers, galvanisers, and customers
    • Arranging cranes and equipment for loading
    • Planning delivery of new plant and equipment
    • Booking skips for waste and scrap removal
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Carrying out and recording factory and office inspections
    • Organising PAT testing and other safety-critical checks (e.g., fire alarms)
Essential Skills & Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Physical fitness to safely carry out manual handling tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Basic IT skills for using company systems
  • Strong communication and teamworking abilities
  • Willingness to complete Forklift Truck training (provided)
Work Environment

You will work across the factory, stores, yard, and office areas, supporting a busy and friendly operational team.
