A family-owned retail business in Northallerton is seeking two Part-time Retail Store Supervisors. Retail Store Supervisor – Northallerton Store

Due to continued growth we have an opportunity for 2 Retail Store Supervisors to join the team in our Northallerton Store.

Position Details
  • 32 hours over 4 days (some weekends on rota basis)
  • 24 hours over 3 days (some weekends on rota basis)

The ideal candidates would benefit from being flexible as additional hours may be required at busy times.

Duties
  • Assist the store manager in the day‑to‑day running of the store
  • Deputise in the absence of the Store Manager (key holder)
  • Support in the management and training of retail colleagues, including cashiers and the replenishment team on the shop floor
  • Work on store displays/stock rotation and put away
  • Keep up‑to‑date with all products, services and promotions
  • Handle customer questions, complaints and issues
  • Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters, suggesting items and delivering great traditional customer service
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Cash up duties as and when required
  • Ensure pricing is correct
  • Manage tidy time

Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory/people management experience desirable but not essential; training will be provided
  • Some retail experience required
  • Knowledge of cashing up procedures advantageous
  • Computer literate
  • Desire to achieve and deliver high standards
