Luxe Talent , an international recruitment and selection agency specializing in Retail, Fashion, and Luxury, is looking for a Store Manager for a children’s clothing brand . The company is about to open its first European store in the heart of London .

In our recruitment and training consultancy, we work with various companies in the Luxury, Premium and High Premium sectors across Europe and have offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Munich and Amsterdam.

Role Overview

The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all daily store operations, leading and developing the team, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. This role requires strong leadership, a hands‑on approach, and the ability to build a high‑performing store from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
Store Opening Leadership

Coordinate all pre‑opening activities, including recruitment, training, merchandising, and operational set‑up.

Ensure all store policies, procedures, and service standards are implemented effectively.

Collaborate closely with HQ on timelines, deliveries, and operational readiness.

Team Management & Development

Recruit, train, and coach a team of Sales Assistants.

Create a positive, motivating, and inclusive culture aligned with brand values.

Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure ongoing development.

Customer Experience

Guarante a welcoming environment for families and children.

Maintain the highest service standards, addressing customer needs with empathy and efficiency.

Resolve escalated issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

Sales & Performance Management

Drive store performance to achieve sales targets and KPIs.

Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly results, identifying opportunities to improve performance.

Implement effective visual merchandising and product presentation strategies.

Operations & Compliance

Oversee stock management, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention.

Ensure compliance with health and safety, hygiene, and company policies.

Manage scheduling, payroll inputs, and daily administrative tasks.

Profile & Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, ideally in fashion retail (children’s wear experience is a strong plus).

Strong leadership and team‑building skills.

Passion for customer service and creating memorable store experiences.

Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and lead a successful store opening.

Fluent in other languages are a plus.
