Vision Express is seeking a Store Construction Project Manager to lead and deliver key construction projects across our optical and sun store estate, working with exciting luxury brands like Rayban, Oakley and Sunglass Hut across the Essilor Luxottica estate. Based at our Support Office in Nottingham and offered on a hybrid working basis, this role presents an exciting opportunity to drive critical store development initiatives across the UK and ROI.

Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality across all aspects of store construction and development.
Strong financial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets, control costs, and deliver value throughout the project lifecycle.
Proven stakeholder management skills, including the ability to navigate conflict, influence outcomes, and build strong relationships across diverse teams.
Extensive retail development experience, ideally within the optical or fashion sectors, with a deep understanding of customer-centric store design.
Thorough knowledge of construction processes, including building regulations, planning permissions, tendering, and contractor negotiation.
Solid understanding of retail health and safety standards, ensuring safe working environments and compliance throughout project delivery.
Demonstrated ability to manage statutory compliance, including fire safety, accessibility, and environmental regulations.
Lead end-to-end project delivery for store construction and development, ensuring timelines, quality, and objectives are consistently met.
Manage cost control and budgeting, driving financial efficiency across all phases of construction projects.
Uphold brand standards and best practices, ensuring every store reflects the Essilor Luxottica identity and customer experience expectations.
Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, including property, retail, design, and external contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
Navigate internal dynamics and politics, maintaining strong relationships and influencing stakeholders to achieve project goals.
