Sheridan Maine is partnering with a thriving organisation based in Loughton to recruit a Stock Controller to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone organised, detail-oriented, and eager to play a key role in managing inventory across multiple locations.

Responsibilities of the Stock Controller:
  • Manage stock movements within the stock system, including dispatching sales orders and transferring stock between warehouses.
  • Allocate stock to future sales orders and ensure items are ready for dispatch.
  • Produce weekly stock reports, highlighting tonnage at different locations and verifying stock values.
  • Work with the warehouse manager to resolve any stock discrepancies.
  • Support accurate stock-takes alongside the warehouse and operations managers.
  • Reconcile stock with the operations manager at month-end for MI purposes.
  • Ensure purchase orders are correctly received into stock.
  • Reverse build stock after outturns are completed by the operations team.
The successful Stock Controller will have:
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working with stock systems and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with warehouse and operations teams.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and stock management.
