Stock Control Administrator

Location: Warehouse-based (with some office/admin duties)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00
Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a Stock Control Administrator to work for our client based in Daventry. This is a mainly warehouse-based role with some office and administrative responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy and supporting smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Checking stock location accuracy, including counting stock and ensuring items are stored in the correct locations.
  • Carrying out stock investigations and supporting stock management activities.
  • Assisting with Returns processes (training provided), which will involve heavy lifting.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls and emails in a polite and confident manner.
  • Using initiative to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Liaising closely with the DTH Customer Service Team to ensure all issues are logged and resolved quickly and efficiently.
About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Be confident using MS Office and email.
  • Have a positive attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be willing to learn new processes and take on additional responsibilities.
  • Be able to work independently and use their own initiative.
Additional Requirements
  • An MHE licence is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to be trained is essential, with onsite training available.
