Overview

Stock & Systems Control, Supply Chain, H&S & related

Our client is a leading FMCG distributor. We are assisting them in their search for a Stock Administrator at their site in Bedfordshire on a Monday to Friday basis (23:00–07:00).

The role reports to the Stock Manager and is responsible for supporting an effective operational process to ensure accurate integrity of customer and supplier stock and data input, while ensuring adherence to operational processes and compliance, including H&S policies.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and management of the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Address stock report issues and ensure accurate recording
  • Foster an effective working environment and collaborate with site, customer, supplier stock teams, warehouse, and related departments
  • Ensure clarity and consistency in all stock-related activities
  • Adhere to customer stock and control procedures
  • Maintain a safe working environment in line with company H&S policies
  • Operate material handling equipment (MHE) as required
  • Maintain strong system control with fully understood and reported adjustments
  • Ensure efficient flow of stock throughout the site
  • Handle customer and supplier stock enquiries
  • Keep accurate records and complete information capture
  • Conduct perpetual inventory counts and stock takes
  • Respond promptly to stock queries
  • Prepare and submit various stock reports
  • Control customer orders accurately
  • Document picking lists, goods in and goods out receipts
