We are looking for an experienced Stick Welder to join a well-established manufacturing team in Brownhills. This is a long‑term opportunity working day shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform stick (MMA) welding on cast components.
• Work from engineering drawings and job specifications.
• Carry out high‑quality welds on various castings to required standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
• Contribute to a productive and efficient workshop environment.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Stick Welder (MMA).
• Ability to weld on castings is essential.
• Competent in working with carbon steel.
• Able to pass a weld test: plate double V butt weld on 12mm - 15mm carbon steel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
