Qualifications

• Educated to a good general standard with verbal and numerical abilities.
• Basic end-user IT skills to operate track and traceability systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow a regulated sterilisation process on surgical instruments.
• Prepare sterile consumables by decontamination and inspection.
• Check, wash, lay up, and pack sets of theatre instruments.
• Safely operate and monitor sterilisation equipment.
• Record and log repairs and missing instruments.
• Return repaired instruments or equipment to stock.
