Salary: Up to 26070.00 per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
Circle Health Group Decontamination is responsible for the provision of sterile equipment and instrumentation for use in surgical and interventional procedures in hospitals across England and Glasgow. The unit operates 24 hours a day / 7 days a week with rotating shifts covering days and nights as required.
We have an opportunity for a Sterile Services Technician to join their team of staff in the Decontamination department.
This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include :
Carry out all stages of the decontamination process including cleaning, checking, assembling, packing, sterilising and dispatching reusable surgical and medical devices.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure all items meet required infection control and quality standards.
Operate and monitor equipment such as autoclaves, washer disinfectors, ultrasonic cleaners and drying cabinets safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of all processes undertaken including batch and load traceability data in line with departmental documentation requirements.
Adhere to all relevant standards including ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and MHRA regulations for medical device reprocessing.

Willingness to learn and undertake training in sterile services practices and equipment use.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures precisely.
Flexibility to work variable hours including weekends, evenings and shifts as needed.
Commitment to delivering safe, high‑quality and reliable sterile services.
Good communication skills and a professional, respectful approach to others.
Full compliance with mandatory training and health screening including Hepatitis B immunisation (required for this role).
