Job description

The undisputed backbone of the production team, Stage Crew are responsible for the loading in and out of shows, constructing and maintaining scenery and running show plots.

An experienced role in the stage department requiring a variety of skills from carpentry, flying, good stage craft and running show plots, you should have a minimum of 3 years professional experience of theatre.

Location: Chichester Festival Theatre, Chichester

Salary: £34,493 per year (estimated) – £587 per week plus subs where applicable (average 48‑hour week). Salary will be formally reviewed in April 2026 in line with the National Minimum Wage.

Contract: Contracts of various lengths and start dates; can be discussed at interview. Position: Stage Team. NEW.
