Band 5 Staff Nurse – 37.5 hours per week

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic nurse to join our team on Willow A ward. Willow A is an acute ward specialising in looking after general medical patients. This is a new ward and an exciting opportunity to join a new team and share our commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care. Healthcare professionals returning to practice, moving into new roles or changing clinical environments may access an agreed preceptorship period.

Main Duties

Willow A is a new general medical ward based at the Cumberland Infirmary. General medical patients are admitted via the medical admissions unit, A+E, and ITU. You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care for general medical patients and support the team in delivering excellent patient care in a supportive environment.
