A UK-based healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse for their Paediatrics unit in Ashton-under-Lyne. This Band 5 role involves delivering high-quality inpatient and day patient care for children and young people up to 16 years old. We are a purpose-built unit that provides both inpatient and day patient care for children and young people up to 16 years old and supports them through transition to adults. We care for a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. Our aim is to join us in providing the highest possible standards of holistic family‑centred care. The unit prides itself on working collaboratively with the MDT.
We have an ambulatory model of care within paediatrics, and we are constantly developing and improving our paediatric services to meet the needs of the area. We have a 24‑hour observation and assessment unit, and you will work in both the ward, day surgery and observation and assessment areas.
