Job Overview

We are expanding our team and looking for enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our Paediatric Emergency Department. Ours is an evolving and continuously developing service which sees a wide array of presentations from injuries to acute illness. You will assist our friendly multi‑disciplinary team in the provision and maintenance of a seamless service, giving high‑quality care to patients whilst contributing to the reduction of healthcare acquired infection. As a reflective practitioner, we will support you in developing your own capabilities and nursing knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the multi‑disciplinary team in delivering high‑quality care and in maintaining a seamless service that reduces healthcare acquired infection.
  • Work closely with the Paediatric Assessment Unit (PAU) located on the paediatric ward and maintain a close working relationship with the wider Paediatric Directorate, including Neptune Ward and the Ambulatory Service.
  • Contribute to service development and deliver safe, holistic and excellent care.
