Role and Team

This exciting opportunity is to work within the Wrexham and Flintshire Children’s Immunisation Team, based at Saltney Health Clinic. The team delivers the immunisation programme to school-aged children in various community settings. The post is for a Band 5 community nurse and candidates must hold current NMC registration. The role involves travelling between sites across Wrexham and Flintshire.

Responsibilities

• Visit schools and other community settings to deliver immunisations to school-aged children.
• Travel between sites across Wrexham and Flintshire as required.
• Deliver the nasal flu programme to all school-aged children and provide all high school vaccinations (including HPV, DTP, MenACWY and MMR).

Qualifications

• Band 5 Community Staff Nurse (current NMC registration).
• Welsh language is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are welcome to apply.
