A leading healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse for its Children's Day Unit. The role involves coordinating patient care, administering treatments, and leading projects to enhance service delivery. Candidates must have a recognized qualification in oncology and substantial nursing experience. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from £44,485 to £52,521 annually, along with various professional development opportunities and a dynamic working environment.
Our busy CYP Daycare and Outpatients sees over 6000 thousand patients a year, requiring systemic anti-cancer therapy, radiotherapy, and supportive care, delivered by our team. The age range of our patients is 1 to 24 year old, making CYPDU a very unique unit at the Royal Marsden Hospital. We are looking for candidates that has the drive and passion to bring ideas forward, lead on projects to improve the patients journey through the service. The candidate will need a qualification in oncology or speciality as essential requirement for a Band 6, but we want to support you in this journey. The candidate will be expected to take an active role in the unit leadership in managing the service in line with the trust values and improvements both identified and to be identified. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills and will demonstrate consistent positive role modelling to support developing both the team and our pre and post registration placements.
