Overview

The Shakespeare Hospice in Stratford upon Avon is inviting applications for a part-time Staff Nurse, Hospice at Home and Day Hospice. The role is based at The Shakespeare Hospice, Shottery, Stratford upon Avon CV37 9UL, with work across Hospice at Home and Day Hospice services covering South Warwickshire. The post holder will work as a core member of the multidisciplinary palliative care team, collaborating with Hospice and community teams to promote holistic, person-centred care for patients, their families and those who require specialist palliative support. The post emphasizes compassion, accessibility, respect and effectiveness in line with hospice values.

Responsibilities

• Be a core member of the multidisciplinary palliative care team.
• Work across Hospice at Home and Day Hospice services, collaborating with other Hospice and community teams.
• Promote holistic, person-centred care for patients and their families, supporting those who require specialist palliative care.

Details

Band: Band 5 (Agenda for Change) - £31,049 - £37,796 pro rata, depending on experience.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (including weekends and bank holiday working).

Responsible to: Hospice at Home/Day Hospice Team Leader.

Accountable to: Head of Clinical and Operational Services.

Department Base: The Shakespeare Hospice, Shottery, Stratford upon Avon CV37 9UL.
