A UK-based healthcare provider is seeking a Staff Nurse to work with patients undergoing renal replacement therapy at home. Ideal candidates will have experience in renal care and a commitment to high nursing standards. Full training will be provided to support the mission of delivering excellent healthcare. This role is situated in Peterborough and offers flexible working arrangements to accommodate diverse needs.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 named nurse to work with patients undergoing renal replacement therapy at home.
Previous experience in renal/haemodialysis is desirable but not essential, as full in-house training and support will be given. The team you will be joining is dedicated to training of both staff and patients.
You also need to be:
Main duties involved are of training patients on both Peritoneal dialysis (CAPD & APD) and haemodialyis (Nx Stage machine/5008s), ensuring a high standard of care is maintained throughout
Undertake the named nurse
Carrying out Adequacy tests including PET/UKM's for Peritoneal dialysis patient .
Working as part of a team within the wider multi-disciplinary team.
Under take home visits regularly and being a car driver is essential.

Undertake the named nurse role for patients undergoing renal replacement therapy at home.
Responsible for the teaching/ implementation and evaluation of their treatment for a group of patients out in the community.
Actively contribute to setting and maintaining high standards ofquality nursing care.
Work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
Act as a clinical and professional role model,.
Adhere to Trust policies, procedures and clinical guidelines and ensure compliance of others.
Responsible for the effective and efficient use of clinical, physical and financial resources.
