A cloud-first insurance challenger in the UK seeks an experienced SQL DBA to manage their Azure and database estate. Responsibilities include troubleshooting data-related issues, performance tuning, and managing SQL Server Databases. Ideal candidates will have proficiency in SQL Server and Azure technologies, experience in the UK Financial Services Industry, and possess Azure certifications. The role offers hybrid working, a discretionary company bonus, and private medical insurance.
An experienced SQL DBA is required to join an ambitious cloud first scale up and challenger within the insurance sector to help manage and maintain their modern and complex Azure & Database estate.
The role.
Balancing delivery speed with service reliability, you'll play a crucial role in managing problems, deploying and monitoring services, and establishing software delivery pipelines using the Microsoft Azure platform.
You will also be tasked with the swift resolution of all data-related issues and oversee application databases within the estate.
