Spray Painter, £41,730 Basic Salary OTE £65k, East Kilbride

Benefits
  • Highly competitive salary
  • Basic salary: £41,730 (£20.06 per hour), OTE £65k
  • Night shift allowance: approx. £7,000
  • Overtime rate: £28.84 per hour
  • Day shift: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday-Thursday 7:30am - 1:30pm, Friday
  • Night shift: 9:30pm - 7:30am, Monday-Thursday

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and paint rail vehicles, carriages, and components internally and externally to project specifications
  • Paint rail vehicles within the paint booth
  • Work with 2K paints and other paint preparation materials
  • Use cataloy, other body fillers, and operate orbital sanders
  • Work as part of a team and complete all required paperwork and work instructions
  • Promote Brodie Engineering's behavioural expectations and support strong working relationships with colleagues, customers, and external agencies
  • Comply with all Brodie Engineering policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Carry out additional duties as required during business peaks and troughs, demonstrating flexibility
Requirements
  • Time-served Spray Painter with relevant qualifications from accredited bodies
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues and resolve them
  • Experience working on automotive or commercial vehicles such as buses, trucks, aeroplanes, or rolling stock
