Job summary

A local primary school in Cheadle Hulme is seeking a Sports Coach to support their Kids Club team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and supervising afterschool sports activities, promoting physical activity, and delivering high-quality Physical Education sessions. This part-time role offers an annual salary ranging from £13,000 to £14,000, working term time plus one week, with a minimum of 38 weeks in a year. Application deadline is May 20th.

Qualifications

  • Relevant coaching qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working with children aged 4 – 11 years would be advantageous.
  • Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sports Coach to join the Team at Gorsey Bank Primary School. As part of this role you will support the Kids Club team, taking responsibility for the organisation, coordination and supervision of afterschool sports activities and clubs.

Annual Gross Salary : £13, - £14, (22 hours per week)

This position is contracted on a 22 hours per week Term Time Only + 1 week basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. In total you will be in work for a minimum of 38 out of 52 weeks.
