Role: Sport Associate
Location: Tresham College – Kettering and Corby 3G Pitches
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Hours/Weeks: Flexible; hours can be discussed at interview
Contract Type: Sessional – Hourly Paid

Responsibilities
- Facility Operations & Customer Service – Support daily sports programme operations, manage check‑ins, respond to enquiries, and ensure a welcoming environment.
- Session Supervision & Safety – Oversee activities, enforce health & safety rules, and maintain positive behaviours within the facility.
- Equipment & Space Management – Prepare and reset spaces for bookings, maintain sports equipment, and ensure correct use of facilities.
- Community Engagement – Assist coaches, participants, and external hires; promote customer satisfaction and uphold the College’s reputation.
- Compliance & Development – Uphold safeguarding, EDI, and health & safety standards; participate in training and maintain required qualifications.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Essential Qualifications – First Aid certification (or willingness to achieve) and readiness to undertake further relevant training.
- Knowledge & Awareness – Understanding of facility bookings, safeguarding, health & safety, and safe supervision of groups.
- Core Skills – Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse groups; ability to promote safe behaviour and uphold expectations professionally.
- Physical & Practical Requirements – Basic knowledge of sports rules, ability to stand for long periods, and lift/carry equipment (20‑40 lbs).
- Flexibility & Customer Focus – Positive, proactive attitude; commitment to excellent customer service; willingness to work evenings/weekends.
