Overview

Sport and Yoga Instructor for Orient Express Sailing Yachts — V.Ships Leisure is recruiting on behalf of Orient Express Sailing Yachts. The position is shipboard, contracted with the Hotel department.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct yoga, gym, and aerobics classes for guests, including demonstrations of how to use gym/fitness equipment.
• Assist the Spa Manager and Entertainment Manager in monitoring guests’ well-being-related reviews and propose ideas to foster guest interest and participation.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized, and fully stocked fitness area.
• Develop good relationships with guests to promote personal training options.
• Follow safe work practices and report any dangerous or unsafe conditions to the entertainment manager.
• Monitor sports equipment regularly and report discrepancies.
• Participate actively in onboard training programs.
• Additional duties as requested by management.

Education/Experience/Qualifications

• Languages: Fluent English.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Personal Trainer certification required / BPJEPS (France) / Licence STAPS (France) or international equivalent.
• Professional experience: 3 years as Yoga Instructor or Sports Instructor in a luxury environment.
• Shipboard experience: Not required but preferred.
