Qualifications

  • Must hold BSc Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a special needs environment preferred but newly qualified candidates are welcome.
  • Demonstrable values and transferable skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to support students.
  • Provide tailored therapy to students with various needs.
  • Report progress to the Therapy Manager.

Tor View School are recruiting for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our Therapy team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and enthusiastic person to become an integral part of our therapy team. The successful candidate will join our multi-disciplinary team, which may suit someone experienced in a special needs environment or newly qualified, who will be required to work closely with other professionals providing support to students, reporting to the Therapy Manager.

About the school

Tor View School is a very special school that enables young people with with Autism, trauma related interruptions, communication needs and learning difficulties to access an appropriate curriculum in a wonderful environment in the heart of Devon. With typical class sizes of 4 we are able to provide the care, attention, time and dedication to all of the young people to enable them to access education and reach their individual goals and aspirations.
