Speech and Language Therapist

Remote/ Hybrid Role: 4 days WFH - 1 day in office in Manchester, paying up to £60,000. Will consider Band 6 or 7. Permanent Position.

Job Overview

I'm currently working with an impactful charity developing new initiatives aimed at meeting the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans people. They're looking for someone to provide a Speech and Language Therapy service (Voice & Communication) for trans and non-binary people.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical supervision to Band 5/6 therapists, offering guidance on complex cases and acting as the point of clinical escalation.
  • Provide line management, support, and regular check-ins for Band 5/6 staff.
  • Oversee the allocation of clinical work alongside line management responsibilities.
  • Work jointly with the multi-disciplinary team to assess, treat, and manage a personal caseload while also providing clinical input and support to colleagues on speech and language therapy matters.
