Cornwall Children's Community Speech and Language Therapy Service

We have an exciting opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our Central locality team due to an internal promotion. This is a perfect opportunity for someone either looking to relocate to Cornwall or to start their career in a friendly and established service.

This post is suitable for a newly qualified therapist and we are happy to take applications from therapists in the final stages of finishing their degree.

  • Regular CPD through in house away days, team meetings and through the trust's central development fund
  • Flexible working options - you will hold a 0-18 years old mixed community caseload and offer support in education settings, through home visits and clinic appointments in our central locality team. The service offers both assessment and intervention, in addition to consultation and training.
  • The post holder will work 3 days in the St Austell area and two days within the Newquay area.
  • The post holder will work with a communication caseload, however we would also consider a mixed communication and dysphagia caseload for any applicants with existing competencies or the opportunity to start Dysphagia competencies in the future.
  • Has experience working with a range of clinical needs either through previous roles or on student placements
  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive and friendly team
