Uniform Education is recruiting a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist for a specialist college in South East London. The school provides tailored education and therapeutic support for pupils with a wide range of needs, including Autism, SLD, PMLD, and physical disabilities.

About the Role
  • Assess, plan, and deliver tailored therapy programmes to support pupils’ communication and language development
  • Provide direct 1 : 1 and group interventions to promote speech, language, and social communication skills
  • Support pupils with alternative communication systems such as Makaton, PECS, and AAC devices
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and other therapists to integrate communication strategies across the curriculum
  • Contribute to EHCP assessments, reports, and reviews
  • Offer training, guidance, and resources to staff and parents to ensure consistent support
