A leading mental health service provider in London is seeking a Speciality Doctor in General Adult psychiatry for a full-time permanent position. The successful candidate will join a dedicated medical team, providing clinical support in a 16 bedded female admission ward. Applicants should be GMC registered and ideally have inpatient experience. The role focuses on excellent clinical care and effective team management.
Applications are invited for the post of Speciality Doctor in General Adult psychiatry for a permanent position in Lillie Ward, a 16 bedded female admission ward based in the Hammersmith and Fulham mental health inpatient unit, West London. The post holder will provide clinical support and leadership as part of an established medical team and MDT. The position is full time.
Applicants must be registered with a licence to practice with the GMC and ideally have experience working in inpatient units with section 12 status. All medical staff are employed by WLNT.
The successful candidate will be a senior member of an established medical team, under a substantive consultant psychiatrist and part of a comprehensive MDT.
The Hammersmith and Fulham inpatient unit is one of two general adult inpatient services for West London NHS Trust and is based close to the Charing Cross Hospital site in Hammersmith and Fulham. Lillie Ward is one of four female admission wards within West London local services.
West London NHS Trust is diverse, delivering a range of mental health and physical healthcare and community services. The Trust is a partner in the development of the North West London Integrated Care System and the Integrated Care Board, and leads the NW London Children and Adolescent Mental Health provider collaborative.
