Job Title: Specialty Doctor in Histopathology
Grade: Consultant
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Contract: 12-months fixed-term, with CESR support
Rate: £55,825 to £90,000 a year pro rata per annum

We are looking for a Specialty Doctor in Histopathology to join an NHS Trust in South East England due to an increase in the service’s workload. The appointee will support the provision of Diagnostic Histopathology (Dissection and reporting of Histological Specimens). There is time and resource allocation for training, including study leave to fulfill the successful applicant’s educational needs. A named Educational Supervisor will identify the successful applicant’s educational needs at the first appraisal within one week of the appointment.

Qualifications and Experiences

  • Medical degree and valid medical license (FRCPath).
  • Applicants must have GMC registration or be eligible to join the register within 6-months.
  • Independent experience in dissection desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Histopathology Specialist.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in medicine procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with medical advancements.
