Job description

We are currently recruiting a Specialty Doctor in Child & Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) for an exciting locum opportunity based in Belfast. This is an excellent position for doctors seeking a stable and rewarding placement in a well-supported CAMHS team.

Start Date: 6th August 2025

Initial Contract Length: 3 months (with potential extension)

Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland

Specialty: CAMHS (Child & Adolescent Mental Health)

Grade Required: ST4 level or higher

Minimum 6 months of paid NHS or HSE experience at Specialty Doctor level (or higher) in CAMHS

GMC registration with license to practise

Fully compliant file including:

Proof of right to work

Up-to-date mandatory training (including Encompass training)

Two recent references relevant to CAMHS and grade

Strong clinical knowledge and teamworking skills within multidisciplinary environments
