Job summary

A healthcare organization in the region is seeking a Specialty Doctor to join the Preston CMHT. This full-time role (10PA) is fixed term for 12 months. Responsibilities include providing medical input and direct clinical care, supporting the team with oversight from a Consultant Psychiatrist. Role Overview

We are looking to recruit a Specialty Doctor to work with the Preston CMHT based at West Strand House, Preston. The post is full time (10PA) and fixed term for 12 months.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical input to the Preston CMHT, including direct care and advice/consultancy for other members of the team.
  • Deliver 8.5 PA for Direct Clinical Care.
  • Support the team while being supported by a Consultant Psychiatrist.
  • Participate in the 2nd On Call rota (if Section 12 approved) with additional remuneration.
  • Gain experience for those pursuing AC accreditation.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years experience in psychiatry.
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice.
  • Section 12 approved (or eligible to obtain approval at commencement).
