Job summary

Job description
Specialist Rotational Physiotherapist – Stroke/Community Neuro Team

Band 6 | Hours 37.5 per week

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a rotational specialist physiotherapist within Stroke and Neuro Rehab. You will rotate through the Stroke Rehab Unit (including neurological out-patients and ward-based neuro patients) and in the community for the Community Neuro Rehab Team.

Main duties You will carry out physiotherapy assessments, develop therapy plans and deliver treatments in a variety of settings – hospital, patient home, clinic and other community settings. You will offer education and support to patients and their families. You will practice autonomously but work as part of an established, integrated multi-disciplinary team. You will carry a complex clinical caseload and be required to delegate work to support staff.
