A leading NHS Foundation Trust in the UK is looking for an experienced Radiographer/Dosimetrist to join their Dosimetry Team. You will be responsible for creating complex treatment plans and collaborating with various health professionals. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Radiographer/Dosimetrist to join the Dosimetry Team at University College London Hospitals (UCLH), working within our cutting‑edge Radiotherapy and Proton Therapy Physics department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing photon and/or proton treatment plans for a diverse and complex case mix, including sarcoma, head and neck, neurological, and paediatric cancers. They will actively participate in multidisciplinary team discussions, providing expert advice and contributing to the development of optimal treatment options tailored to individual patients. In addition, they will be involved in the training of students and other staff members in treatment planning techniques.
The postholder will support the Senior dosimetrists in ensuring treatment planning pathways are delivered in an efficient and timely fashion across the radiotherapy and proton therapy services. They will support the development of new and existing techniques, including production of the standard operating procedures and training competencies for staff.
