This post will provide youwith that, alongside the support of an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist.
Thepost holder will be a part of the MSK service within First Community Health andCare, based in east Surrey with the primary role being provision ofphysiotherapy services to HMP Coldingley, Send, Downview and Highdown, whichare distributed throughout Surrey.
You will see a huge variety of MSK patients,very different to your usual hospital outpatient setting. Working in the prisonwill test your ingenuity and communication skills.
This post is anexcellent opportunity for anyone wishing to advance their management andservice development skills whilst maintaining a clinical caseload.
Continued professional and personaldevelopment is strongly encouraged and the post holder will be part of anactive in-service training programme along with the rest of the MSK team.
The post holderwill be responsible for a the assessment and treatment of offenders presentingwith varied conditions and including some very complex cases.
They will work closely with the other prisonphysiotherapists and provide supervision and support to the physiotherapyassistant.
The prison clinic is anexciting opportunity to work as part of a MDT including GPs, Consultants,Pharmacists, Nurses, and exercise professionals providing a high standard ofhealthcare to this diverse population.
The successfulapplicant will have experience as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist inan outpatient setting.
They will be ateam player and experienced in supervising staff.
They should have evidence ofrelevant post-graduate training as well as effective communication andproblem-solving skills.

£47,810 to £54,710 a year+5% HCAS per annum, pro rata + welcome bonus
