Job Overview

The Head2Head team are looking for a band six clinician to join the team. We are a well established CAMHS Multi Disciplinary team who use an assertive outreach model to offer Mental health assessment and intervention to Young people who experience a range of mental health difficulty and are open to the Youth Justice Service.

Key Patient Populations
  • Experiencing symptoms of Early Onset Psychosis/At risk mental state.
  • Have co-existing substance use needs.
  • Display Harmful Sexual behaviour.
Core Responsibilities
  • To work as part of the Multi disciplinary team.
  • Work as a Care Coordinator to an identified caseload of young people.
  • To be able to skilfully engage young people and their families.
  • To be able to confidently and independently carry out mental health and risk assessments, devise plans of care and offer a range of interventions within a community setting.

Requirements & Practicalities

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.

You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.

A full UK driving license and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
