Job summary

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a part-time Specialty Doctor for its Forensic Service at HMP Pentonville. The role involves delivering psychiatric care within a multidisciplinary team and requires GMC registration. The ideal candidate should have excellent clinical and communication skills, alongside experience in a range of clinical approaches. The position offers a salary ranging from £61,542 to £99,216 annually plus additional London Zone Weighting. Qualifications

  • Minimum eligibility for GMC registration and a licence to practise at the start date is essential.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based management of mental disorders required.
  • Knowledge of recent documentation and NICE Guidelines is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and assess patients with mental illness in various settings.
  • Liaise with other medical services including courts and probation.
  • Provide input and clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary team.
