We are offering an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) - School Nurse to join our theHealthy Child Programme 5-19 (HCP) team in West Sussex.

Full‑time and part‑time posts are available, including flexible patterns such as term‑time only or annualised hours.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment of care needs, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, and setting standards of care within the school nursing service.
  • Management of a defined caseload, supervises, deploys and teaches junior staff members and students within a skill‑mix team, providing clinical leadership to a skill‑mix team of 5‑19 HCP nurses.

A high degree of flexibility and the ability to work independently are required. Applicants must have a valid driving licence and use of a car available for work.
