Do you want to help develop and provide respiratory services, encompassing the delivery of a breathlessness pathway? We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 7 respiratory physiologist/clinical scientist. The successful candidate will be expected to be able to perform basic and advanced pulmonary function tests unsupervised, these should include:
At this level you will also be expected to participate in aspects of service management, including quality assurance, service planning, workforce planning, appraisal, and student supervision.
Our candidate will have a BSc Hons in Clinical Physiology or equivalent, ARTP accreditation and experience performing a wide variety of pulmonary function investigations. Experience in CPET is also desirable. Our department is committed to continuing professional development, with many staff undertaking post graduate and professional qualifications. This role would be ideal for a physiologist looking to take the next step in their career, or who is already established at this level but would like a new challenge and to work in the community.
