An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands‑on Medical Devices Engineer to join our dedicated team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) as we embark on a transformative journey to implement a unified Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system across Essex. As part of the EPR programme, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, effective, and reliable integration of medical devices into our digital health ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of modernising healthcare delivery, working across multidisciplinary teams in a role that directly impacts patient care. We're looking for someone with a strong technical background in medical devices, ideally with experience in hospital‑based device management or connectivity projects.
An integral element of the role, will be your flexibility to work across a multitude of different sites across Essex and into parts of Bedfordshire. In addition, there will be a requirement to join both virtual and face‑to‑face meetings and deliver updates when required.
Communication - Build and sustain effective communications with other individuals or teams involved in the NOVA project, whilst working closely with clinical staff and site teams on a regular basis.
Analytical and Planning -Establish and maintain strategic links with a range of external partners/stakeholders or manage the links made through the team.
Policy and Service Development - Proactively and positively contribute to the achievement of deliverables through individual and team effort.
Financial and Physical Resources - Ensure that resources are used effectively and in accordance with agreed procedures.
Information Resources - Dissemination of knowledge, taking full responsibility for technical accuracy and reliability and being sensitive to the wider implications of that dissemination.

Physical Skills - Highly developed physical skills, accuracy important; manipulation of fine tools, materials. Dexterity, co‑ordination & sensory skills for use of precision tools, maintaining delicate equipment

Maintain and continuously improve specialist knowledge in an aspect of Health Service which significantly contributes to the Trusts stated objectives & aims. Undertake evidence‑based practice for either developments relating to Trust work or opportunities for Trust involvement around health issues.
