We are seeking a reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Wirral. This is a rewarding, full-time, and long-term position, starting this September.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct Student Support: Providing one-on-one and small-group assistance to students with special educational needs, both in the classroom and during specific sessions.
  • Encouraging Engagement: Fostering a positive learning environment and helping students to engage with their lessons and peers.
  • Recording Progress: Keeping accurate and detailed records of student behaviour and academic progress.
  • Team Collaboration: Working effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure every student receives the support they need.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 6 months of experience assisting children with SEN in a UK classroom setting.
  • DBS Check: A valid Enhanced DBS check (registered with the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one).
  • Work Eligibility: The legal right to work in the UK.
