Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of whistleblowing frameworks across the UK and other jurisdictions.
  • Experience conducting detailed employee conduct investigations and producing high-quality reports.
  • Experience supporting or reporting to senior committees and managing governance requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present to senior audiences.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage sensitive information appropriately.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and deliver practical, balanced solutions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Knowledge of financial services sectors such as insurance, investment management or retirement products.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and updating Speak Up policies and procedures to ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing and coordinating speak up investigations and misconduct reporting processes across the Group.
  • Supporting the promotion of speak up arrangements to ensure colleagues understand reporting and escalation routes.
  • Collating speak up analytics and preparing insightful reporting for committees, boards and senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting the operation and governance of the Speak Up Committee, including secretariat activities.
  • Ensuring the accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of speak up records within the case management system.
  • Embedding consumer duty considerations into speak up policies to support good customer outcomes.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to provide oversight, advice and continuous improvement to speak up processes.
