Job description
Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Diagnostic Radiographer to join our multi‑disciplinary team at Woodend Hospital. The Hospital has an extremely busy elective orthopaedic service as well as care of the elderly and rehabilitation beds. The successful candidate will work the majority of the time within this environment but will also take part in rotas covering the Aberdeen Health Village, Kincardine Community Hospital and community satellite hospitals when required. The radiology department has a combination of DR and CR equipment using PACS/RIS technology.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all general radiographic examinations including theatre and fluoroscopy.
  • Support CPD, audit and research initiatives within the department.
  • Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary team members to optimise patient care and imaging workflow.
Qualifications & Experience

Qualified Diagnostic Radiographer with NHS experience. Experience working in orthopaedic or elderly care settings is desirable.
