A leading hospitality recruitment agency is seeking a passionate Sous Chef for a renowned gastro pub in North Yorkshire. This role offers a unique opportunity to progress to Head Chef within 6 to 12 months, working alongside an experienced Executive Chef. Ideal candidates will have experience in high volume, fresh food restaurants, and a strong desire to grow professionally within a busy kitchen environment. The pub is well-regarded for its modern British cuisine and operates at a high capacity, serving over 150 covers on weekends.
A Sous Chef looking to develop into a Head Chef is required for this award-winning gastro inn located in a quaint town in the North Yorkshire countryside
This quaint county Inn oozes charm and is set within idyllic surroundings, they have 10 guest bedrooms and have an excellent reputation within the local area and is well known for it’s traditional British cuisine which has a modern twist and is put together using fresh locally sourced ingredients and is therefore extremally busy serving around 150 – 200 covers over the weekends.
There is a professional and talented brigade of 5 Chefs and they are now looking for a passionate and dedicated Sous Chef to join them, they are looking someone who is hungry to drive their career forward as they would like to develop the right candidate into a Head Chef role within 6 to 12 months, you will join as Sous Chef and work alongside the current Executive Chef who will train you in all aspects of becoming a Head Chef until you are able to take on this role within the Restaurant.
The right candidate must have experience in working with fresh food restaurants which are a high standard and also have experience working in high volume establishments
