Sous Chef - Woking | Excellent pay, free meals & Enjoy Great Work/Life Balance

We're looking for a skilled Sous Chef to lead shifts in a busy MOD Woking kitchen near Pirbright. You'll manage staff, oversee daily operations, and deliver high-quality dishes, all while benefiting from a structured and supportive environment. There's no responsibility for menus, rosters, or ordering - you'll focus on running the shifts and leading the team.

  • 37.5 hours per week across a mixture of early (05:00-13:30) and late (11:30-19:30) shifts, including weekends

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage kitchen staff across shifts
  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day kitchen operations

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Train and mentor members of the kitchen team
