Solicitor - Corporate (Education Sector) - 0-2 Years PQE

Location: Cheltenham | Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility) | Salary: £48,000 to £60,000 (DOE)

A respected national law firm is seeking a Corporate Solicitor with 0-2 years' post qualification experience to join its award winning Education team in Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your corporate career within a specialist, high performing team advising independent schools and educational institutions on complex, high impact transactions.

The Role
  • Sales and acquisitions within the independent schools sector
  • Charitable mergers, collaborations, and reorganisations
  • Drafting and negotiating transaction and ancillary documents
  • Conducting due diligence and supporting strategic projects
  • Liaising with Boards of Governors, Heads, Bursars, School Groups and Proprietors
  • Contributing to seamless matter management and excellent client service
  • Supporting a collaborative, ambitious and sector focused team culture
Candidate Requirements
  • 0-2 years' PQE with a foundation in corporate law
  • Strong technical ability and high quality drafting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence to contribute to live transactions from day one
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational discipline
  • A proactive, ambitious and team oriented mindset
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to build trusted client relationships
