Solicitor - Corporate Commercial - Somerset - 3+ Years PQE

Location: Somerset

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with some hybrid flexibility)

Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 DOE

A respected regional law firm is seeking a Corporate Commercial Solicitor with 3+ years' post-qualification experience to join its expanding team in Somerset. This is a standalone role in a new office location, offering the opportunity to build a presence with full support from a busy and well-established wider team.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including:

  • M&A transactions and corporate restructuring
  • Commercial contracts and joint ventures
  • Advising SMEs and larger businesses across sectors
  • Supporting business development and client relationship growth
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the wider firm
  • Maintaining high professional standards and compliance
Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 3+ years PQE in corporate and commercial law
  • Strong technical and drafting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesConfidence in managing matters independently
  • A proactive mindset and commercial awareness
  • A following or proven ability to develop client relationships (for partner-level consideration)
  • Willingness to contribute to the growth of a new office location
