We have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor to join our team within Vistry Services, at our various offices across London. As our Solicitor, you will support the Head of Legal with the provision of development property legal services on all aspects of regeneration residential development and build-to-rent projects. This includes land/property acquisition, sale of land parcels to third-party developers, Registered Providers, and private rental entities, build leases, sale of completed dwellings to end users, and commercial property.

Working closely with regional teams within the London Division and other Divisions as required, the role involves engaging with both the internal legal team, Vistry's panel of external legal advisors, and reporting to management on relevant matters.

Role specifics

  • Site acquisition and transactional assistance: land acquisition, land disposal, sub-sales, PRS/BTR frameworks, overage arrangements, title issues, investigations, easements, covenants, and indemnity insurance
  • Commercial property including landlord and tenant matters
  • Assist with disposals to registered providers and investors
  • Drafting and negotiating development agreements and construction contracts
  • Provide legal advice and signposting to stakeholders
  • Deliver bespoke in-house legal training
  • Review and update legal precedents
  • Review confidentiality agreements
  • Handle ad hoc project queries, issues, and disputes
