Location : Following a period of office-based training and learning the post offers flexible working, but with an expectation to be in the office once a week. Site visits as needed.
Reporting to : Sales Director
You must have a full clean UK driving licence for this role. The company covers all fuel and mileage expenses for site visits

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to become IMS’s very first dedicated Solar Sales Consultant. IMS is already an established player in renewable energy solutions and is now expanding into residential solar PV.
We’re looking for someone ambitious who can lead the charge, shaping our solar sales strategy, proving the concept, and becoming our in‑house expert for all things solar PV. This role offers the rare chance to directly influence the success and growth of our solar division from the ground up, within the stability of an established renewable energy business backed by Hometree Group.
The Solar Sales Consultant will support IMS’s residential solar PV sales by guiding customers from initial enquiry through to contract agreement. This role involves responding to customer enquiries, designing bespoke solar PV systems, and preparing detailed technical and financial proposals. The consultant engages directly with customers through in‑person site visits, ensuring a professional and customer‑focused experience that drives the growth of IMS’s solar sales operations.
